The Dubois County Community Foundation hosted its fifth community fundraiser, Trivia Nigh this past Saturday at the Huntingburg Events Center. The entertaining team event is held to raise funds and awareness for the Community Foundation.

Executive Director Brad Ward says the annual event always proves to be fun and a great way to be involved with the Community Foundation.

This year, Trivia Night raised over $8,500 for the Community Foundation.  Ward said over the past five years, hundreds have participated in Trivia Night, contributing over $34,000 for the Community Foundation in support of its role in building charitable endowments, distributing grants and convening on community issues.

This year’s community fundraising event drew over 300 people who came out for a night of fun, entertainment, and to support the operations of the Community Foundation. Those on hand included Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann, State Representative Lloyd Arnold, and Huntingburg Mayor Denny Spinner.
