The Southwest Dubois County school board approved a contract for incoming superintendent Mike Eineman at last night’s monthly meeting. Eineman, who is currently the principal at Southridge High School, will be paid a salary of $102,500 per year, but that will be reduced to $98,500 per year while Eineman lives outside of the district. Eineman is currently living in Jasper, but says he plans on moving in the near future.
On a related note, the school board approved Eineman’s resignation as Southridge’s principal. Eineman is set to become superintendent on April 15th.
Kelly Murphy, the current assistant principal at Southridge High School, will be the school’s interim principal for the remainder of the current school year once Eineman takes over as superintendent.
