Late last week, the Think Lincoln group of Spencer County held a meeting to begin their focus on tying Abraham Lincoln into the state of Indiana’s bicentennial celebration, which is coming up in 2016.

Jeff Lindsey, an attorney with Jefferson Law Associates who works with the Think Lincoln group, says the details are still to be worked out:

Lindsey says the group wants to coordinate its efforts with the state’s plans to celebrate the bicentennial. He says Lincoln has a big role in Indiana’s history:

Lindsey did not divulge any of the preliminary ideas that came out during this recent meeting. The next meeting of the Think Lincoln group is scheduled for May 24th at 9 AM.
