The Dubois County Community Foundation has announced its next board president.
Attorney Bill Kaiser, a partner with Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP, was elected by the DCCF board to serve as the board’s president for a one-year term.
Kaiser has previously served as the Foundation’s legal counsel as well as a board member. He has spent a total of seven years with the DCCF.
Dubois County Community Foundation CEO Brad Ward says he greatly appreciates Kaiser’s willingness to lead the board into the future. He says Kaiser’s energy and passion will keep the Community Foundation moving as a change catalyst in the area.
Kaiser has also served as the legal counsel or as a board member for local and regional organizations such as Dubois Strong and the Redevelop Old Jasper Action Coalition (ROJAC). Kaiser’s legal background is largely in the corporate law and real estate areas with experience in zoning and planning along with environmental law and land use. He has also served clients ranging from entrepreneurs to large manufacturing.
The DCCF’s goal is to create a giving culture and to improve living quality in Dubois County. Last year, the organization distributed 425 thousand dollars in grant money to organizations such as Survivors of Suicide for Dubois County and Dubois County Special Olympics.
