Local Businesses Collecting to Help Oklahoma Tornado Victims

Two local companies are collecting items at various locations across the county for donation to victims of the tornado which struck oklahoma on Monday.

OFS Brands and Jasper Engines and Transmissions, in collaboration with the City of Huntingburg, are each loading a semi trailer full of goods to be sent to Oklahoma.

Items can be dropped off in Huntingburg today and tomorrow from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 4 to 7 pm at the OFS Brands trailer located at Memorial Gym on 5th Street in Huntingburg.

The Jasper Engines trailer is located at Christian Church of Jasper on 1450 Energy Drive in Jasper. Items can be dropped off there today and tomorrow from 4 to 7 pm as well as from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday.

Accepted items include bottled water, Gatorade, individually wrapped snacks, sunscreen, trashbags, and deodorant among other items.
