The Northeast Dubois High School senior class is set to graduate this weekend.

This particular class, 80 students in all, endured some adversity early in the school year with the tragic death of Lance Corporal Alec Terwiske who was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan on September 3rd of last year.

Rick Gladish, principal at Northeast Dubois High School, has nothing but praise for this year’s senior class:

Gladish says the class of 2013 showed a lot of leadership around the school, a trait he says will be something the seniors will need to carry with them wherever they go in order to be successful.

The seniors’ last day of testing was yesterday with their graduation set for this Saturday at 6 pm in the high school gym.
