A new zip line park has just recently opened in Perry County.

The park, known as Eagle Wings Zip Lines, is in Leopold, a town just to the north of Tell City.

The new park features 8 zip lines, including an 1,100 foot long line known as Soaring Eagles.

Eagles Wings owner Dale Sprinkle, a Perry County native, says he wanted to have zip lines in the county after spending time near the Virgin Islands at St. Martin.

The park offers three different tours ranging from 40 to 85 dollars per person.

Sprinkle says several park tours have already been booked. He says since the nearest park from Evansville besides this one is in Martin County at Shoals, the chances of this new park being popular are very high.
