Crawford County Drug Investigation Results in 15 Arrests

A covert drug investigation in Crawford County resulted in the arrest of 15 people yesterday afternoon.

Indiana State Police say the investigation focused on the illicit sale and distribution of marijuana, methamphetamine, hydrocodone, and methadone all around Crawford County. Those arrested in connection with the investigation were: 74-year-old Mary Harmon, 38-year-old Melissa “Kelly” Harmon, 55-year-old Esther Smith, 52-year-old Ricky Pittman, 42-year-old Lisa Pittman, 48-year-old Gale Dillard, 69-year-old Alvin Crecillius, and 37-year-old Jeremy Byerly (all of Marengo), 48-year-old Charles Becht and 46-year-old Kenny Mills (both of Milltown), 50-year-old James Graham and 58-year-old Cordelia Patton (both of English), 52-year-old Scott McDaniel and 41-year-old Jennifer McDaniel (both of Ramsey), and 69-year-old Carl Hines of St. Croix. Charges for the group include dealing in schedule II, III, and IV controlled substances, dealing methamphetamine, dealing marijuana, and maintaining a common nuisance.

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, the US Marshals Service, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Milltown Town Marshals Office, and DNR Law Enforcement Division all assisted.
