A Spencer County theme park is set to hold auditions for its Halloween program later this month.

Holiday World’s “Graveyard Smash” show will be the featured show during the “Happy Halloween Weekends” event held at the park in October. The show, which will take place at the Hoosier Celebration Theater within the park, will include high energy singing and dancing with ghouls, vampires, and witches.

Those interested in auditioning should bring a headshot as well as a resume to their auditions. Performers will need to be prepared to sing a 2 minute pop song to show off their range and their personality. The CD player will be provided. All performers will need to bring dance attire, as a brief dance combination will be taught by a staff choreographer at auditions.

The auditions will be held on Sunday, July 21st from 1 til 4 pm central time in the park’s HR lobby, located next to the employee parking lot along Highway 162. 10 singers/dancers and several stage and sound technicians will be hired for the show. Performers and technicians must be at least 16 years old by the start of rehearsals in September to be eligible to be hired.

“Graveyard Smash” will be performed during Happy Halloween Weekends – Saturdays and Sundays from September 21 through October 27 – at Holiday World.
