Huntingburg Police made a pair of arrests over the weekend of drivers who had never been licensed to drive.

Sergio DuronEarly Saturday morning at 1:35 am, police observed a vehicle with no lights on going eastbound on Railroad Avenue before turning southbound onto Washington Street. After catching up with the vehicle, police determined that the driver, 24-year-old Sergio Duron of Huntingburg had never been licensed to drive. Duron was lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on a class A misdemeanor of operator never licensed.

Michael LeitingThen on Saturday evening just after 7:45 pm, police observed a vehicle speeding while headed northbound on Van Buren Street near 19th Street. After stopping that vehicle, police say the driver, 18-year-old Michael Leiting Jr. of Huntingburg had never been licensed to drive. Leiting was also lodged in the Dubois County Security Center on a Class A misdemeanor of operator never licensed.
