Leadership Academy Group Finds Online Home for Project

A group from the 2012 class of the Dubois County Leadership Academy has found an online home for its capstone project.

A group consisting of Karen Adams, Jeremy Deffendoll, Nick Hostetter, Ashley Kiefer, and Kelley Schipp have created Growing Rewards Our Work (GROW) as a home for their project.

The group’s intent was for their project to be environmentally friendly as well as cost efficient. GROW promotes information concerning container gardening through a “how-to” type pamphlet. The pamphlet encourages folks to save on their grocery bills through container gardeners.

Woods Printing of Holland and InForm Design of Jasper contributed to the pamphlet, which was distributed by pairing with the Dubois County Health Department, Tri-Cap, and the Guadelupe Center among other organizations.

The GROW pamphlet can be found online on the Purdue Extension Dubois County website at extension.purdue.edu/dubois.
