A flat tire was the cause of a Moped crash in Jasper yesterday where the vehicle flipped over.

Jasper Police say 34-year-old Darrin Bouillon of Jasper was traveling westbound on Cathy Lane west of Kellerville Road just before 10:50 am yesterday morning when the accident took place.

Bouillon told police his front tire went flat as he was traveling, which caused his Moped to flip. Bouillon landed on the roadway and suffered injuries to his right hand, face, and left leg. He was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment. His Moped suffered $300 worth of damage.

No charges were filed. Memorial Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
