Two Injured in Orange County Motorcycle Crash

Two people were injured in a motorcycle vs deer accident in Orange County over the weekend.

Indiana State Police say 58-year-old Jack Taylor of Orleans was riding his motorcycle westbound on Driving Range Road near county road 310 north at about 2:45 pm on Saturday when a deer crossed his path. The motorcycle hit the deer. Jack and his wife, 53-year-old Jeanette Taylor of Orleans, were both injured in the crash. Jack was air-lifted to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Jeanette was taken to IU Hospital in Paoli where she was treated and released.

Jack was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
