Two events sponsored by 101 Country WBDC were held last night out at the Dubois County 4H Fair.
In the WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions event, the Bounty Hunters, comprised of TJ Miller and Randy Johnson, won their third event of the season to date, defeating the team “Sons of Pitches” in the championship round. Due to the Bounty Hunters already being in the championship round by virtue of previous wins, “Sons Of Pitches”, comprised of Reuben Schwartz and J.D. Underhill advanced to the championship match of the tournament, which is set to be held at the Huntingburg Herbst Fest on September 28th. The amateur division of the tournament was won by the team “The Winners”, comprised of Austin Horsting and Heath Gudorf. The next stop on the WBDC Cornhole Tournament of Champions tour will be on Saturday August 3rd at the Jasper Strassenfest. Also last night at the fair, the 4H Tug of War took place. Team America, coached by Bradley Hoffman, defeated the defending champion St. Henry Saints, coached by James Henry Jr. Team America was comprised of Cole Ording, Brenan De Kemps, Tanner Beckman, Collin Bowlin, Max Hasenour, Chloe McNeely, Cory Hoffman, Ethan Schwoeppe, and Grant Breschon.
