Pike County man that was found passed out in the parking lot at the Jasper WalMart was arrested on drug charges late last week.

Jasper Police went to the Walmart located in the 4000 block of North Newton Street just after 12:30 on Friday on a report of a male passed Uppencampout in a vehicle. Police found that 28-year-old Clinton Uppencamp of Winslow was unresponsive in the vehicle. Police say Uppencamp had been inhaling toxic vapors and was also in possession of a controlled substance.

Uppencamp was treated at Memorial Hospital and then was booked into the Dubois County Security Center. He is charged with a Class B misdemeanor for inhaling toxic vapors and a Class D felony for possession of a controlled substance.
