No Crane Employees Injured in Navy Yard Shooting Monday

Officials say there were no injuries to employees of a local naval establishment in yesterday’s shootings at the Washington DC Navy Yard.

NSA Crane Spokeswoman Pam Ingram says Crane did have some employees present at the Navy Yard in Washington at the time of the shootings yesterday. She says all have been accounted for and are safe.

Multiple national media outlets have reported that 13 people, including the gunman responsible for the shootings, are dead following the shootings. Authorities say the gunman, 34-year-old Aaron Alexis of Fort Worth, TX, was a civilian contractor and a veteran of the military with a base entry pass that was valid. Authorities say Alexis went into a command complex building at the Navy Yard and went on a shooting rampage before committing suicide.
