This year’s upcoming Jasper Chamber of Commerce yearly meeting will feature a special guest as its keynote speaker.
Indiana Governor Mike Pence will be this year’s speaker. Pence is a lifelong Hoosier with experience in the legal, small business, and policy fields. Pence was elected as the state’s 50th governor back in November of 2012 and was inaugurated on January 14th of this year.
The Jasper Chamber of Commerce currently has 18 board members and 2 staff positions. During the meeting, outgoing Chamber Board President Nancy Wilson is set to recognize board members and other officers who served under her term this year. Wilson will also present the annual President’s Community Excellence Award. This award is given each year to a person in the community who has made contributions in order to make a difference. Officials say the award is always a surprise for the recipient.
Tickets for this annual meeting and dinner will be $30 each or $220 for a table of eight people. To make a reservation, you can call the Jasper Chamber of Commerce at 482-6866 or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
