Officials with the town of Chrisney in Spencer County say a boil water advisory that was issued late this past weekend has been lifted.

Officials say the precautionary boil water advisory was lifted after bacteriological samples taken from the town’s water system showed satifactory results. They say as a result boiling water is no longer necessary.

The measure was taken due to a loss of water pressure that was discovered Sunday morning in the Chrisney water system.

The boil advisory had included all customers in the town of Chrisney, those on County Road 900 North and south as well as any customers west of the new Hwy 231.

Once again, officials with the town of Chrisney in Spencer County say a boil water advisory that was issued late this past weekend has been lifted.
