Jasper Police Reopen Investigation into Potential Car vs Pedestrian Incident

Jasper Police have reopened their investigation into an incident that occurred last week after recieving new information yesterday.

Police say the incident in question took place just after 3:10 pm last Wednesday at the intersection of St. Charles and 36th Streets. They say an initial report was given of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian at that intersection. However, when they arrived, officers were told that there was no crash but a female juvenile had fallen down in the roadway.

Jasper Police are asking anyone who witnessed this incident to contact the department at 482-2255 or the anonymous tip line at 481-COPS.
