The Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce is set to host the fourth round of its Business Education Series.
The topic of this event will be the I-67 Development Corporation. Some of the topics on the agenda will include what I-67 is, the mission of the I-67 Development Corporation, and an update on where things stand with the project.
The guest speaker for the event will be I-67 Development Corporation President and CEO Hank Menke. Menke, who is also the president and CEO of OFS Brands in Huntingburg, has been pushing for the I67 project. He says the project remains vital to the future of Dubois County:
Over the last year or so, Menke and the I67 Development Corporation have been discussing the project with officials across Southern Indiana and in Kentucky hoping to gain more support for it.Back in October, Menke was 1 of 24 business leaders in the transportation sector to be chosen by Indiana Governor Mike Pence to serve on the state’s Blue Ribbon Panel on Transporation Infrastructure.
This round of the Business Education Series is set to be held on March 12th from 8 to 9 am at the Huntingburg Chamber of Commerce’s office, which is located on the second floor of the Old National Bank building in downtown Huntingburg.
