Delays for motorists along Interstate 64 are set to continue this week as crews patch potholes along the highway.
Officials with the Indiana Department of Transportation say crews will once again be out this week along Interstate 64 patching the potholes. There will be temporary lane restrictions in Crawford, Dubois, Perry, Spencer, and Warrick counties throughout this week as a result.
Work is underway today on both directions of Interstate 64. The work will take place between State Road 61 at Exit 39 to State Road 66 at Exit 92. The project is expected to take the rest of the week. Work will start at 7 am local time and be done by 4 pm local time each day. All work is expected to be completed by Friday evening. That is, of course, weather permitting.
INDOT is asking motorists to slow down and stay alert when they encounter pavement maintenance crews.
