A pair of Louisville residents were injured in an ATV accident in Crawford County last night.

Just before 7 o’clock, Indiana Conservation Officers were called to the 5500 block of Vanlanningham Road near Milltown after a reported ATV rollover. Conservation officers say 47-year-old Lisa March was operating the Kawasaki 750 ATV when she lost control and hit a barbed wire fence. Both March and her passenger (54-year-old Kerry Koch) were thrown from the ATV.

March and Koch each suffered lacerations and possible broken bones in the crash. Speed is believed to have been a factor in this accident. Conservation officers say possible charges are pending in this case. They say March and Koch were not wearing helmets or safety equipment, something that conservation officers strongly encourage folks to do when operating an ATV.

Crawford County Sheriff’s deputies and Milltown Police also assisted.
