Patoka Reservoir’s 23rd annual star party has been rescheduled for 6 to 10 pm tomorrow (Saturday) at Patoka Lake Beach.

A special presentation will be given by members of the Louisville and Evansville astronomical societies and the Stonebelt Stargazers of Bedford as they share their knowledge of the sky above.

There will be children’s activities and giveaways until dark. A special astronomy program will be held under the tent on the beach.
Telescopes will be set up for observations of Mars and Saturn as darkness falls.

The entrance fee of 5-dollars per vehicle for Indiana residents is required for the Newton-Stewart State Recreation Area.
