Norman F. Caldemeyer, age 88, of Stendal, Indiana, passed away at 6:55 a.m., Friday, August 14, 2015 at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.
He was born April 22, 1927 in Stendal, Indiana, to Henry and Loumira “Lou” (Doetker) Caldemeyer. He was united in marriage to Betty M. Blount on August 30, 1952 in Stendal. Norman was a retired residential brick layer and stone mason. He often contributed his time and masonry skills to the benefit of community projects. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal, the Brick Layers Union, and the Lockhart Township Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Seoria Vaughn, and one brother, William Caldemeyer.

Funeral services for Norman Caldemeyer will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.D.T., onMonday, August 17, 2015 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Paul Cemetery located on the west side of Stendal. The Reverend Tom Deen will officiate at the service.
