77-year old Lawrence (Larry) Backer of Jasper passed away Monday at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

He is survived by,

His Wife;

Mary Ellen Backer of Jasper,

One Son;

Steven Backer of Jasper,

Three Daughters;

Dr. Emily Backer of Kokomo,

Clare Bies of Jasper,

and Elizabeth Backer of Jasper,

Eight Grandchildren;

Three Sisters, four brothers and eight grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for 77-year old Larry Backer of Jasper will be held at 11 am Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to be held at a later date.

Friends may call from 2 till 8 pm Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Dubois County Museum, Anderson Woods, or the Angelman Syndrome Foundation.

Funeral services for 18-year old Ted Boeglin will be held at 9:30 am Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery.

Funeral services for 88-year old Eleanor Eckert of Jasper will be held at 11 am Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

A Rosary will be held at 1:30 pm Friday by the D of I’s and the St. Ann’s  Society at the funeral home.

88-year old Hoyt King of Birdseye, passed away  Monday at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He is survived by:

Two sons,

Alan King of Huntingburg,

and Brian King of Birdseye,

3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for 88-year old Hoyt King of Birdseye will be held at 10 am Thursday at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at the Birdseye Cemetery.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4 till 8 pm Wednesday; and from 9 till 10 am Thursday morning.

Funeral services for 80-year old Norma Kerstiens of Fulda will be held at 10 am CST Wednesday in St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fulda with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

25-year old Cassie Turner of Huntingburg passed away Saturday as the result of an automobile accident.

She is survived by:

91-year old Ralph Brosmer of Dubois passed away Monday at Professional Care Rehabilitation Center in Dale.

He is survived by,

and Charles Brosmer of French Lick,

Seven Grandchildren
