It was twenty years ago today our television partner WJTS hit the airwaves to serve Dubois and surrounding counties with local news, sports and special programing.

WJTS first went on the air valentines day 1993 as an  analog Tv station on channel 27 and just a few years ago completely upgraded to a class “a” digital television station improving both it’s signal strength and quality.

Today WJTS with studios located at 458 third avenue in jasper, broadcasts it’s digital signal on channel 18 and continues a strong commitment to local programming.

18 WJTS TV can be enjoyed both with an antenna and on local cable TV systems.  WJTS is one of several broadcast facilities operated by DCBroadcasting, incorporated which is owned by Paul and Carol Knies.

DCBroadcasting also owns radio stations in southern Indiana including WBDC 100.9 FM in Dubois county, WAXL 103.3 FM in spencer county and WORX 96.7 FM and WXGO 1270 AM in Jefferson county indiana, along with operating WRZR 94.5 in martin county.
